A walking street theatre show
11am to 12pm, 12.30pm to 1.30pm, 3pm to 4pm, 4.30pm to 5.30pm at The Beaney House of Art & Knowledge
Shrouded in mystery and controversy, little is known about the enigma that is Kit Marlowe.
There were murmurings of espionage, conspiracy and betrayal. Supposedly, he died in a bar fight. But what really happened to Shakespeare’s biggest rival?
The Natural Theatre Company has been tasked with uncovering the truth. In this intriguing walkabout show, we will embark on a fantastical journey through the streets and alleyways of Canterbury in an attempt to untangle the web of Marlowe.
Please note this is a walking street theatre show that will leave from the museum and take you on a tour of the city.
This is a free event but advance booking is required.
We aim to make our programme as accessible as possible so if you have any accessibility questions please contact: beaney@canterbury.gov.uk
The event is part of Canterbury Unlocked, a city-wide celebration.
