You’ll enjoy a relaxing stay in tranquil surroundings at the Best Western Abbots Barton Hotel, a 15min walk from the city centre, and can then take in the views of Canterbury Cathedral before visiting the charming shops along our cobbled streets to pick up goodies for yourself or gifts to take home with a Canterbury Gift Card. During your stay, you can enjoy a sumptuous meal and drinks at The Ivy for a truly special experience in the heart of the city.

• An overnight stay for two people at Best Western Abbots Barton Hotel in a double room and a full English breakfast the following morning

Terms & Conditions

• The competition ends on Friday 12^th June 2026 at 12noon.
• The competition is open to people aged 18 and over, and UK-based only. Proof of age may be requested.
• The winner will drawn at random and notified by email. If the winner does not respond to their confirmation email within 7 days of it being sent, the competition winner will be redrawn.
• Once confirmation is received, the winner will receive details of how to book and receive their prizes. Bookings will be managed by the individual host suppliers
• The overnight stay at Best Western Abbots Barton Hotel must be booked and take place by 31^st August 2026. Date restrictions for when the stay can take place may apply, and the stay is subject to availability
• The £250 gift voucher for The Ivy Canterbury may be used for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner but no cash or change can be given if the bill total is less than the value of the certificate. The full amount needs to be redeemed in one transaction before 22^nd October 2026. The voucher must be presented as a method of payment at the restaurant either physically or digitally on a smartphone. The voucher is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. It is not possible to extend the gift voucher beyond the stated validity period. Gift vouchers are not for resale.
• Travel to and from Canterbury is not included
• Prizes are not transferable and there is no cash alternative
• Any extra expenses at the accommodation or hospitality venues must be paid by the prize winner or guest
• This competition is facilitated by Visit Canterbury and Canterbury BID, the prizes have been donated by the participating businesses
