‘Where the sea meets the sky’, an upcoming solo exhibition by popular artist Sarah Lester.
The intimate show will feature brand new paintings in Sarah’s unique style of layering textured paint strokes revealing hidden colours beneath. This effect is achieved by the artist's use of paintbrushes, sponges and her hands.
Using these tools Sarah moves swiftly across the image to convey movement and essential spirit of the wild land and seascapes she depicts. This carefully curated exhibition will be accessible within the gallery and on our website from 13th August – 3rd September. Want to meet the artist herself?
