The George Harrison Project

15th May 2026

The ultimate live tribute to the life and music of George Harrison

A true musical icon who helped shape the sound of modern music will be celebrated by The George Harrison Project

Catch this special performance at CANTERBURY's Gulbenkian Arts Centre on Friday 15th May. From the chart-topping hits of The Beatles and The Traveling Wilburys to Harrison’s incredible solo career, this acclaimed show takes audiences on a journey through some of the best-loved songs ever written. Alongside John Lennon, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, Harrison helped The Beatles become the best-selling music act of all time, with over 600 million records sold worldwide.

After Beatlemania ended, he joined forces with Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison and Tom Petty to form the legendary supergroup The Traveling Wilburys. Harrison, who passed away in 2001, also released 12 solo studio albums, including Living in the Material World, Cloud Nine, Brainwashed and the timeless All Things Must Pass. Featuring a talented band of musicians, The George Harrison Project authentically recreates Harrison’s most cherished hits, including While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Something, Here Comes the Sun, Handle With Care, End Of The Line, My Sweet Lord, Taxman, My Sweet Lord, Got My Mind Set On You, and many more.

Expect an evening packed with superb musicianship, fascinating stories, and a heartfelt celebration of one of music’s most beloved artists. A show suitable for all ages.
