Storytime at the Library

10th July 2026
The Beaney House of Art & Knowledge

Stories come alive in this fun and engaging storytime for the littlest of story lovers!

Join Tiny Talk for an exciting adventure through some of our favourite stories, with songs, actions and signing, perfect for babies and pre-schoolers. Recommended for all ages Tickets for this event are pay as you feel, but please note that each person attending will need a ticket.

All money from ticket sales supports the running, continuation and expansion of Canterbury Children's Literature Festival and our year round outreach work within the local community, and is split between the festival and Tiny Talk Kent Downs.

About the Storyteller Tiny Talk run classes in the local area, teaching you to communicate with your littles ones before they can even speak. Weekly themes such as bedtime, family or a trip to the park give you the signs you need to share baby’s world and daily routine, using British Sign Language (BSL) signs, and there are interactive music classes, and hands on sensory activities to delight your baby and develop all-round communication skills such as vocalising, listening and taking turns.
