Re-imagine the days when smuggling was rife in Herne! How and where did the Smugglers operate? Who were the local citizens with respectable day jobs who were smugglers after dark? And the Riding Officers who pursued them? How did Midshipman Sydenham Snow meet his end? Listen to the history and tales passed on by local people. Walk: 1.5 hours+, some uphill, some field paths. Sturdy shoes recommended. Start and finish at the Herne Centre. Suitable for adults and children 10+ with adult only. Adults £5 Children £2 remainder supplemented by Herne Bay Festival
