Smooth Sunday Sounds on Herne Bay Pier (Free Event)

Cabin FM and Herne Bay Pier Trust want to share a great chilled afternoon of live music.

Sit for a while and enjoy the music and the view, wander round the retail village and pick up a bargain, have a bite to eat from the food court, enjoy an ice cream or two, have a drink at Beer on the Pier or Bar 19 and have family fun with Pier Amusements Cabin FM will be broadcasting their morning show live from the stage from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and the live music will kick off at 2:00 pm with the amazing Rock Choir taking over the stage.

The ever popular Adam Reggio will take over at 3:00 pm, Maria Lara at 4:00 pm, Mazz – Little Grl, Big Voice at 5:00 with Natalie Louise ensuring we have a great finish from 6:00 pm – see full details below

14:00 The Rock Choir – East Kent The six East Kent Rock Choirs are part of the nation’s most popular, local and award-winning contemporary choir experience. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have years of experience, you’ll find a fun, supportive environment where you can simply turn up, sing, and feel fantastic — no auditions, no need to read music.

We meet on Tuesday evenings at Ramsgate Arts Primary School and Thursday mornings at The Baptist Church in St Peters, Broadstairs. 15:00 Adam Reggio Step into a world of timeless hits and unforgettable vocals with Adam Reggio. A powerhouse solo vocalist who brings decades of music to life with passion, precision, and show stopping energy. Adam delivers dynamic performances that captivate and connect with every audience. 16:00 Maria Lara Maria Lara is a vocalist and presenter on Cabin FM’s Jazzology, presenting a broad selection of jazz and jazz-influenced music. As a performer, Maria has toured nationally as a Liza Minnelli tribute artist in The Rat Pack production, appearing in theatres, cabaret venues, and concert halls across the UK. Alongside this, she performs her solo Liza Minnelli tribute show and regularly sings jazz and musical theatre repertoire at venues and events throughout the country. Maria is delighted to be performing locally, sharing the music and influences that have shaped her career at a fantastic venue.

17:00 Little Girl – Big Voice Meet Mazz, the singer known as “Little Girl Big Voice.” Her musical journey began with childhood inspiration from Nigel Kennedy’s appearance at the Royal Variety Performance. Despite financial struggles, her tenacious mother secured a grant for violin lessons, leading Mazz to win Kent Music School’s Young Musician of the Year. Mazz’s true metamorphosis occurred in a school talent contest, where she unleashed her voice, marking the inception of her passion for singing. From school performances to theatre shows, she landed pivotal roles that fueled her artistic flame. In adulthood, Mazz pursued musical excellence as a BA Hons Commercial Music student. She fronted Kent bands at various events, captivating audiences with undeniable charisma. Now, at 40, Mazz transforms her life stories into music, unveiling soulful narratives. Her journey, a testament to the transformative power of music, invites audiences worldwide into the enchanting world of “Little Girl Big Voice.”

18:00 Natalie Louise Natalie Louise is a versatile vocalist from Herne Bay, Kent, with over 25 years of live performance experience and a lifelong love of the stage. Classically trained in performing arts from the age of four, Natalie has performed at prestigious venues including Her Majesty’s Theatre, Sadler’s Wells Theatre, and the Royal Albert Hall, as well as appearing on European stages including Euro Disney. Over the years, she has built a strong reputation for her warm stage presence, powerful vocals, and ability to connect with audiences of all ages. Natalie’s repertoire spans jazz, swing, soul, musicals, rock ’n’ roll, classic rock, disco, funk, power ballads, pop, and alternative music, allowing her to bring something for everyone to her performances. Whether singing a heartfelt ballad, a much-loved classic, or an upbeat crowd favourite, Natalie brings energy, emotion, and personality to every song. Alongside her vocal career, Natalie has a strong background in dance and theatre, having previously been a UK champion in rock ’n’ roll, and also trained in disco and freestyle. This performance background adds confidence, movement, and a natural theatrical quality to her live shows. A familiar face on stages across Kent and beyond, Natalie has performed at weddings, private events, theatres, holiday parks, hotels, restaurants, pubs, and community events. She is known for her varied set lists, expressive vocals, and genuine love of entertaining. Natalie Louise brings a rich mix of jazz, swing, soulful classics, and feel-good favourites, creating a performance full of warmth, nostalgia, and live entertainment charm.
