PRUFROCK Exhibition

20th March - 26th March 2026

Ian Jones brings us an exhibition of photo prints illustrating lines from TS Eliot’s 1916 poem 'The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock'

This strange, image-rich poem, rejected by one publisher as 'absolutely insane', contains some of the best-known lines in English poetry.

To compliment the exhibition, there's also a spoken word evening on Saturday March 21, from 18:00 - 20:00, called 'DO I DARE?' which will include: - Background to the poem - Live performance of the poem - The curious story of the discovery of a hitherto unknown letter... Tickets can be purchased from beachcreative.org for the spoken word evening.
