Merry Opera Company’s unique staged performance of Handel’s Messiah
The Merry Opera Company brings its unique, staged performance of Handel’s Messiah to St Paul’s without the Walls Church, Canterbury on Saturday 6th December 2025 at 7.00 pm as part of an 18th revival tour.
Performances will take place at venues around South East England in November and December 2025.
Twelve professional singers play characters who experience transformation from need and despair to understanding and hope as they sing this traditional work in its entirety. Audiences report that it gives the work ‘new meaning’, ‘invigoration’. All are welcome.
