Kent Coastal Concert Band's Christmas Concert

The annual Christmas Concert

Kent Coastal Concert Band in based in Herne Bay and was formed in 1991 as a group of 10 brass and woodwind players under the baton of Paul Valentine.

Over its 34 years, the band has grown to approximately 50 regular members and is regarded as one of the most successful and able bands in the area. The band is proud to have musicians of all ages from all walks of life with many travelling far and wide for rehearsals and concerts, although the nucleus still originates from Herne Bay, Whitstable and Thanet.

The band performs regularly at venues all over the county, including concert halls, bandstands, festivals and charity events, and has been performing its annual Christmas Concert at the Kings Hall for many years.

Playing a varied repertoire, Kent Coastal Concert Band offers musical programmes to suit the taste of a wide audience. The annual Christmas Concert will bring a fun-filled family atmosphere and will include festive favourites mixed with some feature pieces. We're even expecting a visit from Santa!
