Herne Bay Christmas Lights Switch On Event

This is the fifth year of our annual Christmas Lights Switch On Event and it is growing every year!

Our local independent shops are planning to open and there will be five hours of musical entertainment ably compared by our local community radio station Cabin Fm.

We have booked in 45 vendors selling hot food like hot dogs and burgers from our local butchers - the award winning Taylor Meats, Yorkshire pudding wraps , German Bratwursts, wood fired pizzas, Wild Seed a vegan food stall, churros and hot donuts along with craft beer, Kent cider and coffee stalls.

In addition we ahve artisan craft and food stalls for you to peruse and get some lovely locally made Christmas gifts or purchase that unique present for friends and family.

Our Greenwood Gardens Santa Grotto will be open. Need to book early and tickets are available from The Old Sweet shop in William Street.

It's £8 per child and includes a gift! We are also selling our Raffle tickers at a £1 each with a first prize of £750, Finally, our new set of six Christmas Crds designed by five local artists will also be on sale at a mere £1 each.

So come down to Herne Bay and join us and enjoy all that the Bay has to offer and our seasonal festivities!
