The work unravels a physical puzzle, where two dancers navigate complex challenges in search of balance and connection. Set to an original score by world-renowned electronic musician Floating Points, SPLICE blends contemporary dance with the raw energy of underground club and battle styles. Drawing from their diverse movement vocabularies, Hannah and Faye fuse elements of Voguing, bone-breaking, threading, and electro to create a visceral, boundary-pushing performance.
RORSCHACH In RORSCHACH, a dynamic trio choreographed and directed by Hannah Ekholm and Faye Stoeser (Ekleido), the iconic Rorschach inkblot test is reimagined as a psychological journey. This piece transports us to a future society where individuals must endure a mandatory Rorschach trial—an intense process of self-revelation and survival. Through three rounds of psychological endurance, moral questioning, and physical limitation, the dancers confront the boundaries of their minds and bodies.
Like SPLICE, RORSCHACH merges contemporary dance with underground club styles, incorporating Voguing, bone-breaking, and threading to intensify the work’s emotional and physical impact.
