Crash Festival returns to Canterbury for its second year, taking over The Malthouse on 13 and 14 August 2026. Two days of talks, panels and masterclasses across animation, VFX, comics, design, gaming and screen arts, delivered by the people behind the films, games and comics you already know.
Speakers include Framestore, Industrial Light & Magic, Golden Wolf, A+C Studio, Dead Nice Studio and Lebanon Circle, alongside comics writer Andy Lanning, designer Tom Muller and games designer Gary Napper.
Year one drew more than three hundred people to Ashford. This year is bigger, with a full Wacom Creative Zone running across both days, hands on drawing stations, live demos and portfolio time with working professionals.
The festival is open to everyone, with a clear focus on people aged fourteen to twenty five who are building a career in the creative industries. Whether you draw, animate, code, design or just want to know how any of it actually gets made, there is something here for you.
Day tickets from £30. Two day pass £55. Full lineup and booking at wearecrash.com
