This live performance forms part of the PhD viva of zheng performer-composer Qian Zhan at CCCU
The concert presents a selection of her original zheng compositions, offering insight into the creative outcomes of her practice-based doctoral research. Drawing on both traditional Chinese musical heritage and contemporary compositional approaches, these works explore new expressive possibilities for the zheng.
