Canterbury Festival Youth Orchestra

30th October 2025

Music students from across Kent gather under the banner of Canterbury Festival to perform a professional concert to a Festival audience.

Emerging from our brilliant pilot project in 2023, the Festival Youth Orchestra is an opportunity for young musicians to gain confidence and professional experience. Come and support them as they perform together for the first time in front of a live audience.

Creative Learning Partner: Emily Renshaw-Kidd, Director of Music, Simon Langton Grammar School for Boys. Supported by Mr Ian Carmalt.
