Take part in a journey of genres and styles, celebrating and re-discovering the hope and dignity singing in the black oral tradition brings.
From ‘call and response’, through to complex choral arrangements, participants are encouraged to practice freedom of expression, whilst remaining true to themselves and the form.
Black Voices are one of the finest exponents of a cappella, performing intricate and soul stirring harmonies in the black oral tradition with a repertoire that covers everything from spiritual and traditional songs to jazz, modern and classical.
