Spend the day exploring library archival material, mapping the River Stour and its impact on the community.

Spend the day exploring library archival material, mapping the River Stour and its impact on the community.

This one-day archival project will aim to create a small temporary exhibition which will be displayed publicly at Canterbury Library from 22– 26 September in celebration of Stour Valley Riverfest and World Rivers Day.

We will have a break from 12.30-1pm, so please either bring a lunch with you or feel free to head out to the high street to pick something up.

We will explore the archives and what the library holds on the River Stour from nature to heritage and communities. We will map the archival material and create a temporary exhibition.

Access: Canterbury Library has lift access to all floors and level access into the building from Best Lane. It has a changing places facility
