Heritage and Gardens

Goodnestone Park Gardens is a peaceful and romantic garden with connections to Jane Austen.

It has been described by various writers as 'the very heart of rural England', 'one of the loveliest gardens in Kent', 'a haven of beautiful tranquillity hidden away in south East Kent'.

Visitors who come to explore the 14 acres of Goodnestone Park Gardens can now bring along the family dog. Dogs are already permitted in the Old Dairy Café, and Lord FitzWalter is delighted to extend the welcome to the celebrated gardens (walled gardens excluded).
