Enjoy a trip through Canterbury’s fascinating past on a 90-minute walking tour with the Official Canterbury City Guided Tour. Take a journey back in time with your expert Green Badge Guide as you explore the medieval lanes and historic Cathedral Precincts. The tour offers an insight into Canterbury’s cultural and artistic heritage, with tales of murder, ghosts, royals and pilgrimages, and of course the many famous characters who have lived here or visited in the past.

Daily tours run at 11am, year-round (except Christmas Day), whatever the weather. Additional 2pm tours at weekends and throughout the summer.

Private groups are welcome by appointment, with various languages available.

Visit the website for tour information, pricing and to book. Tickets also available in-person from Canterbury Information Centre or Roman Museum.
