A 2.5 hour guided photo tour which will immerse you in the wonderful past and present of the town and help you create some memorable photograph whilst learning some techniques and creative approaches on the way.

You’ll see and experience the history and heritage (JMW Turner painted here, so we're in good company!) as you receive help in creating photographs of all the classic views and secret corners with your guide and local pro photographer Alex Hare.

We'll have fun with our cameras creating everything from classic views, learning about light and how our cmeras work, through to some more abstract approaches we can enjoy.

Together, we'll explore the natural environment and discover how it was created including the earthquakes that still occur even today(!) and find out about the rich maritime history as you journey along the coast and through the vibrant working harbour where the fishing fleet still operates.

From the dinosaurs that once roamed here to the Romans who established the oyster beds, through to the flora and fauna found only here in our very own Site of Special Scientific Interest.

The tour includes tips on where the locals go for the best food, drink and cakes away from the well known tourist spots. You will also receive a colour, illustrated map of the Whitstable Coastal Trail to help you explore even further at your own pace.
