Showcasing the best local, national and international acts in a fun-filled Festival atmosphere
Canterbury Festival returns from 19 October – 2 November 2024, presenting an extravaganza of classical and contemporary music, theatre, comedy, talks, family events, science and more in the heart of Kent.
2024 marks the charity’s 40th birthday and you are invited to celebrate this milestone with Kent’s largest multi-arts Festival - showcasing the best local, national and international acts in a fun-filled Festival atmosphere. The Festival’s year-round public engagement programme will champion the city’s creative spirit, presenting concerts, shows and community events that have been developed in partnership with local musicians, schools, universities and charities across the district. Events will take place at venues across the city including Canterbury Cathedral, The Malthouse, Kent College’s Great Hall, Westgate Hall and Canterbury Christ Church University.
The full programme will be announced on Monday 22 July but until then you can find out about the Festival’s public engagement projects, fundraising events and Festival Friends scheme at canterburyfestival.co.uk
