About Riverside guided tree walk - Toddlers Cove Car Park

Join Martin Thomas, Tree and Woodland Officer at Canterbury City Council, for an enjoyable guided walk exploring the trees along the River Stour in the heart of historic Canterbury. As we follow the river through parks, green spaces and the city centre, you'll learn how to identify some of our most common native tree species and discover the vital role they play in supporting wildlife along the river corridor. You'll also hear about the trees selected for Canterbury’s parks and gardens, and how they contribute to the character, beauty and biodiversity of the city.

The walk begins at Toddlers Cove and ends in St Radigund's car park, Canterbury. The route is accessible for wheelchair users.

Please dress for the weather! In the event of heavy rain or wind, this event may be cancelled so please check for updates.
