Linda Smith Lecture 2026: Jo Caulfield - Gulbenkian Arts Centre

The Linda Smith Lecture celebrates the life and work of comedian Linda Smith, and has been hosted since 2015.

We’re delighted that Jo Caulfield has agreed to give the 2026 Linda Smith Lecture. Described by The Observer as ‘one of the finest female comedians’, Jo is a brilliant stand-up and writer who regularly headlines the UK’s biggest comedy clubs.

She has appeared in the Royal Variety Performance, not to mention shows like Mock the Week and Just a Minute. She has also performed at the Loving Linda benefit gigs, raising money in Linda Smith’s memory for Target Ovarian Cancer.
