John Hegley’s Biscuit of Destiny - Gulbenkian Arts Centre

There are several of Hegley’s distinctive drawings on slides in the show— he picks out several details on which to elaborate, curiously never mentions the Dalek on the T.V. but whichever bits you get, it’s lovely stories, music, poetry and silliness,

This is a unique National poetry Day edition of the hour-long Edinburgh Fringe performance WITH 50% EXTRA to be provided by the returning and riotous Rachel Pantechnicon alongside a decent dunking of sublime songsters Diego Brown and the Good Fairy.

N.B. The show is an hour and a half long is only partly biscuit-based. Devised for adults but not unsuitable for the odd nine-year-old, it should also be noted that biscuits for humans appear only in narrative form and those presented physically, are dog biscuits and no attempt should be made to ‘try’ them.
