The Inter-Faith Riverside Walk on Saturday 26th September is organised by Canterbury and District Inter-Faith Action, as part of the Great Stour Riverfest, to celebrate our relationship to the natural world and the value of rivers and water.
Meet from 10.30 am at the entrance to Westgate Gardens, by Westgate Towers in Canterbury, to start the walk at 11.00 am.
We shall walk along the Great Stour Way to Hambrook Marshes and back, stopping at certain points for readings from the world’s faith and belief traditions, religious and secular, about the significance of rivers and water, and our commitment to cherish and protect them.
