The Beaney’s annual Family Halloween Trail. Explore the museum galleries solving fun, interactive puzzles!
While looking over our Tudor wall, we found a stack of faded papers.
They reveal the workings of a secret organisation active almost 500 years ago in Tudor Canterbury. The secretive group were alchemists trying to create gold!
Help uncloak the shadowy figures behind this year’s mystery! Complete the trail and receive a tasty treat as your reward.
Saturday 3 October to Sunday 1 November 2026
(closed Mondays except Monday 26 October)
£6 per trail (includes participation prize and competition entry)
Age recommendation: Everyone is welcome to take part and the trail is very popular with children aged 5 to 10 years old. Younger children may require some help with reading. Our friendly staff can assist with puzzles.
