Eleanor Drage: What If We Got AI Right? - Augustine Hall - Canterbury Christ Church University

In a world obsessed with whether AI will destroy humanity, Eleanor Drage, one of the world’s leading AI ethicists, is asking a far more urgent — and actionable — question: what if we got AI right? Join Eleanor in conversation as she reframes the dominant narratives around artificial intelligence as a social, political and ethical issue — not just a technical one, offering a radically more hopeful, human-centred vision. Chaired by Steven Gale, a theatre producer and consultant currently working with Tavaziva Dance Company. He has extensive international theatre experience and has produced major productions for the Edinburgh International Festival. A former cultural events producer at the British Library, Steven has also chaired more than 500 author events at literary festivals worldwide.
