The Marine Hotel

The hotel, which has been lovingly restored retaining much of its original character, is ideally located for touring Kent's south east coast. The coastal towns of Whitstable, Herne Bay, Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs are within easy reach, whilst inland, the medieval city of Canterbury with its historic past is only a short drive away.

The splendid restaurant offers excellent food using the finest local produce and can seat up to 50 people comfortably. The bar with its lounge, which also looks out across the sea, is open all day. An ideal place to relax after a day's sightseeing. A selection of bar meals are served at lunchtime and in the evenings.

The 30 comfortable en suite bedrooms include TV, telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee-making facilities. The ballroom can accommodate buffets up to 180 people and formal meals up to 150. It has a private bar and is ideal for functions, dinner dances, wedding receptions and celebrations.  The Galley Suite is suitable for functions for up to 80 people.

The Marine's relaxed atmosphere and seaside location make it an excellent venue for business conferences and company training days. Last check-in time 11.30pm.
