About Malthouse Theatre
The Malthouse Theatre, with an audience capacity of 384, has flexible stage and seating configurations, an orchestra pit, as well as superb technical and backstage. The Malthouse stands proudly as The King’s School, Canterbury’s centre of Drama and in addition programmes professional events throughout the year. The Malthouse also houses dance and drama studios, flexible teaching spaces, top quality sound and lighting equipment, prop and costume stores, as well as dressing rooms and changing rooms. Audiences will enjoy dining and bar facilities, the cloakroom and box office, and a stunning exhibition space in the foyer. The Theatre and studios are also available for community and corporate hire.
