The Cook's Tale Restaurant, formally named the Ambrette is located in the city centre just a ten minute walk from the Marlowe Theatre and the high street. The Restaurant is also close to Watling Street car park and Castle Street car park. Our chefs are passionate about showcasing Canterbury produce with a modern Asian twist. Renowned award winning chef Dev Biswal has received national awards and recognition from many major food guides for his unique and innovative food menus.We are heavily invested into our local community here in Canterbury. Most ingredients on our menu are sourced within half an hour driving distance from our restaurant. Our menu celebrates local farms and food producers from the Canterbury area.
