The 2019 Canterbury Half Marathon
Following a record breaking year in 2018, the Canterbury Half Marathon returns for the 8th time in 2019. This year we are looking to make it even bigger and raise even more for Pilgrims Hospices.
A popular part of the Kent sporting calendar, the Canterbury Half Marathon is organised to support Pilgrims Hospices by Nice Work. The race attracts a large Bank Holiday Monday entry to confirm its position as one of Kent's favourite half marathons. The course is challenging and covers the quiet country lanes on the outskirts of the city. The course has been officially measured and carries a certificate of course accuracy. Bespoke medal plus range of finish line goodies available to all finishers. Plus prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Male and Female; leading men and women in all Vet age categories from Junior to Vet 80. 1st Male and Female affiliated Team (3 to count). There will be well stocked aid stations along the route and there is also a 2 mile fun run and children's race for younger runners. An event perfect for all the family! Our thanks, as always, to the Canterbury Forest of Blean Rotary Club for their invaluable help in staging this race.
