Beginner's Guide to Birdsong Workshop @RSPB Blean

Learn the songs and calls of some of the more common woodland birds with RSPB experts.

First learn the basics of birdsong and bird identification in an online learning session. Then join a guided walk through RSPB Blean Woods exploring the habitats, behaviour and quirks of our wonderful birdlife. For those with no previous knowledge or experience but a desire to learn more about the natural world. This session will give you the tools to pick out common birds by their song next time you're out for a walk. Online learning session 10th June: 18:30 – 20:00 Guided walk 11th June: 08:30 – 10:00 (Slot 1) + 10:30 – 12:00 (Slot 2) Please ensure you select the correct ticket for the guided walk slot that you would like to attend. Concessionary tickets are available for RSPB members, Kent Wildlife Trust members and students/people in full-time education. Proof required. Please note there are no toilet facilities on site This event is part of Climate Change resilience for Blean woods and Seasalter Levels, a new and exciting habitat restoration project running until Spring 2022. This project is funded by the government’s Green Recovery Challenge Fund. The fund is being delivered by The National Lottery Heritage Fund in partnership with Natural England and the Environment Agency.
