Built in 1544 Fordwich Town Hall is the oldest and smallest in the country still in use today. Visit this fascinating building with its herringbone brickwork and admire the original timbers, the 'Ducking Stool' and other historical items. Used as a Courtroom and jail for hundres of years, see where the accused had to stand at the 'Pleading Bar' to state their case.

Open on Sundays from May to September between 13:30 and 16:00, the Hall is now wheelchair accessible.
