Park & Ride has always been the greenest, cheapest and fastest way for car drivers and their passengers to get to Canterbury city centre.
There are three Park & Ride sites in Canterbury: at Wincheap, New Dover Road and Sturry Road, so letting the bus take the strain is the most sensible option for almost any trip into the city. The buses stop at a number of intermediate stops between the car parks and the city centre. The final stop is at the Canterbury Bus Station on St George's Lane, where the Park & Ride buses also depart from.
All our sites are protected by CCTV cameras. Each site has drink machines, information stands, toilet and baby changing facilities, and a heated waiting room for your comfort.
For more information on Canterbury's Park & Ride please visit ww.canterbury.gov.uk/parkandride or call 01227 862 429.
For just £3.00 per car, a driver and up to six passengers can park their car in a purpose built car park and board one of our smart kneeling low floor buses - with space and restraint facilities for wheelchairs and prams to enjoy unlimited journeys across each route. The payment system installed at the car parks gives change, so it really is even easier to Park & Ride.
Regular Users can also get a great discount by purchasing a Park & Ride Card. Please visit www.canterbury.gov.uk/parkandride for details or call 01227 862 429.
