    Ducie mixes traditional and contemporary styles from across the world. Combining Celtic music, Afro Cuban and Brazilian rhythms with funk, reggae, flamenco and blues, this vibrant blend of genres takes the listener over a broad, musical landscape providing music for your ears and infectious rhythms for your feet!

    Andy Dinan (The Bad Shepherds) and Ian Fletcher (Future Trad Collective) teamed up to make an album that brought together their many musical influences. Using old traditional tunes, new compositions and heavy percussion, they produced an album of great energy and drive. Richard Sliwa (Inner Space)and Jon Thorne (Lamb) coming on board to provide the rhythm section - after the release of Mancunia there was demand for live gigs, so Ducie, came about with with Andy, Ian, Richard and Gavin Barrass on bass.

    By car: Situated on the campus of the University of Kent. Follow the A2/M2 towards Dover and turn off onto the A28 towards Canterbury. Continue up to a large roundabout and follow the signs to 'The University'. When on the University's campus, follow the signs to the Gulbenkian Theatre.     By train: The closest BR train station is Canterbury West. From there, buses are available by Westgate to take you onto the University's campus. From the University drop off point, follow the signs towards the library and the Cornwallis buildings and on to the theatre.
