There is always something fun for children of all ages to enjoy in the Canterbury district. From beaches and beautiful countryside to bustling towns and wild beasts, there's no excuse to run out of ideas for the kids.
Safe shingle beaches, good walking paths and wide promenades are ideal for youngsters to enjoy a day on the beach during the warmer months. They'll have a great chance to work off some energy on the trampolines, playground or mini-golf on Herne Bay's seafront.
For those days when the weather calls for indoor activities, there are cinemas in Herne Bay and Canterbury and leisure centres with large swimming pools in Herne Bay, Whitstable and Canterbury. Why not challenge the family to a game of Ten Pin Bowling, either in Whitstable, or the Ice 'N' Bowl in Canterbury.
