Great for Children in Canterbury, Whitstable and Herne Bay

From beaches and beautiful countryside, to bustling towns and wild beasts, there’s no excuse to run out of ideas for things to do with the kids.

The district’s wildlife parks, museums, castles, river tours, walking tours and cathedral are a must for great family days out.

Safe shingle beaches, good walking paths and wide promenades are ideal for youngsters to enjoy a day on the beach during the warmer months. They’ll have a great chance to work off some energy on trampolines, playground or mini golf on Herne Bay’s seafront.

There are also cinemas in Herne Bay and Canterbury, and leisure centres with large swimming pools in all three towns.
