There are so many fun action packed things to do throughout the Canterbury district we have had to split them up into City, Coast and Countryside. So blast off in Canterbury this summer and start exploring.

During the day start at the Dane John Gardens, here the children will enjoy getting lost in the maze before embarking on the City Wall Trail where you and your children can walk along the remaining parts of the city walls or stop off at the Visitor Centre and join one of the daily guided walks around the city that is fun and fascinating.

Dane John Gardens

Canterbury's most popular park has been transformed into attractive gardens with monuments and memorials, a bandstand for summertime concerts, a central fountain, a tearoom and children's maze.
 

City Wall Trail

A city wall once surrounded Canterbury city centre. Today, only half the city wall remains. It is possible to walk along the city wall along to the Dane John Gardens.
 

Canterbury Guided Tours
