This much acclaimed and multi award winning guided river tour provides a truly entertaining experience for visiting groups and is perfect for all students and adults worldwide. From their ideal and convenient location, right in the centre of Canterbury and only a five minutes walking distance from Canterbury’s coach drop off points, their tour combines a very enjoyable light hearted commentary on some of Canterbury’s finest architecture with outstanding views of natural scenery.
There are many benefits for visiting groups, including discounted group rates and free admission for group leaders/coach drivers. Their experienced booking officers can even assist you with planning your whole itinerary for the day of your visit, and can offer help with your dining arrangements at any one of Canterbury’s leading traditional historic pubs and restaurants.
They also specialize in providing tours to foreign schools and language students. Speaking slowly and clearly their guides tailor the tour towards their target audience, taking into account competency with the English Language and understanding of English/Local History. We are able to provide students with interaction with native speakers, as well as a fun environment in which they can enjoy some of the history and culture of one of England's principal cities.
For senior groups, a special ‘Welcome to the City’ service is offered. River Tours guides will meet senior groups booking for a morning visit and can offer them a free orientation tour of Canterbury whilst leading them to the tour’s departure point.
Booking is easy, and can be done via their website, where there is a special contact form for group organizers or via email. For more information contact them at:
