Details

Kent-based educational music charity, Music for Change, will be celebrating their 20th Anniversary this year. The charity began in March 1997 and will be running a series of special events to mark the anniversary throughout the year. We are delighted to announce that as part of the celebrations, we are running Global Sounds, a family-friendly celebration of world music and diversity in Canterbury’s Dane John Gardens on August Bank Holiday Monday.

Don't miss the incredible international sound of Kefaya; Cuban son and Salsa from Sarabanda; Canterbury based 6 piece folk fusion ensemble Arlet; and mesmerizing music from Kora player and singer songwriter Kadialy Kouyate! Plus, acrobatic performances and workshops from Emmanuel Okine & the UK African Acrobats, drumming workshops from George Fiawoo, food stalls and more!
