Whitstable Castle & Gardens
Whitstable Castle is a landmark building, on the seafront between the popular fishing town of Whitstable and Tankerton.
Dating from 1790, it was formerly the family home of the Pearson Family and then of Wynn Ellis MP (who housed his mistress and family here!) and has always remained a landmark attraction throughout its history.
Today the castle and its 3 acres of award-winning gardens are open to the public. The Orangery tearooms are open every day and there is a fabulous priate playground for children in the gardens.
We welcome groups and provide guided tours of the main castle building and gardens. Pre-booked tea and tours are available for groups of 6+.
From £5.00 per person dependent on catering requirements.
