The clock tower is the most striking piece of architecture in the town, which was built in 1837 to commemorate the men of Herne Bay who volunteered for the Boar war. The Bandstand is an ideal venue for those who enjoy café culture and is also a focal point for summer concerts, other musical events and children's entertainment.
