A beautiful 15th centruy grade 2 listed cottage situated in the heart of the medieval village of Chilham, just 6 miles from Canterbury. With open fire and oak beams, sleeping 4 people, Orions Cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind for either a short break or longer holiday.
Orions Cottage has a beautiful cosy sitting room with open fire and oak beams. There are plenty of books and games for your use, and a Television and DVD player. The large kitchen/breakfast room leads from the living room, with door onto a pretty enclosed courtyard garden. Enjoy your meals in the rustic kitchen with the solid slate flagstones and all necessary appliances including gas hob, electric oven, toaster, microwave, and fridge.
Stairs lead up to the first floor to two double bedrooms (one small double) with fitted wardrobes and wonderful views of the square and castle. The bathroom has a bath with shower attachement, toilet and washbasin.
All towels and linen are provided for your use. This is a no smoking property. Well behaved dogs are also welcome!

From M2 (North)
Leave M2 at junction 8 signposted Ashford - Faversham. T junction turn right towards Ashford. Continue for approximately 6 miles. At first rbt by car salesroom take 1st exit towards Canterbury - Chilham. Continue for approx 4 miles and take right turn into Taylors Hill signposted Chilham Village by small fire station. Orions Cottage is on your left as you enter village square next to Tea Rooms.
From M20 (North)
Leave M20 at junction 8 signposted Leeds Castle. At rbt take last (3rd) exit still towards Leeds Castle and Lenham. At next rbt take 1st exit. At next rbt take 2nd exit. At next rbt take 1st exit and proceed straight ahead for approx 8 miles. At Charing rbt take 1st exit signposted Canterbury/Chilham up steep hill. Continue straight for approx 2 miles. Take right turn signposted Chilham Village by small fire station. Proceed up Taylors Hill. Orions Cottage is on your left as you enter the Square next to Tea Rooms.
From Canterbury A28
Leave Canterbury Ring Road at Wincheap rbt A28 towards Ashford. Continue for approx 2 miles. At rbt take 2nd exit and continue straight ahead over River Stour. Continue for approx 3 miles where road becomes A252. (Do not turn left onto A28 twds Ashford!) Continue straight for approx 0.5 miles past Badgers Hill Farm on your right. Continue up Taylors Hill and Orions Cottage is on your left as you enter the village square next to Tea Rooms.
From Dover Docks A2
Leave docks and at rbt take 1st exit onto Jubilee Way signposted A2 Canterbury - steep hill! At rbt take 2nd exit signposted Canterbury. At rbt take 3rd exit signposted Canterbury. Continue straight for 11 miles signposted M2 London. Branch left off A2 signposted Canterbury - Wincheap - Thanington - Ashford. At traffic lights turn left towards Ashford. Continue straight ahead and A28 becomes A252. (Do not turn left onto A28 twds Ashford!) Continue straight for approx 0.5 miles past Badgers Hill Farm on your right. Continue up Taylors Hill and Orions Cottage is on your left as you enter the village square next to Tea Rooms.
From M20 South Ashford
Coming from Dover/Channel Tunnel take Exit Junction 10 (signposted Ashford). At roundabout take the A2070 towards Canterbury. After a few miles go straight over the roundabout by the hospital and take the A28 towards Canterbury. Continue for approx 9 miles at T junction with the A252 turn left for 0.5 mile passed Badgers Hill Farm on your right. Take left turn Taylors Hill signposted Chilham Village by small fire station. Continue up hill and Orions Cottage is on your left as you enter village square next to Tea Rooms.
