Details

Each of our three houses are graded 5 star by Visit Britain. The Oast is a classic Kentish oast house previously used for drying hops. It is next door to The Old Tannery which is a 16th Century timber framed building recently renovated to a very high standard with oak beams in the bedrooms. Both houses have patio style gardens bordering a small river, and on the other side they look out over the village green. There is ample parking off the street in front of the properties.

Ellens Cottage is located on our fruit farm and has a large garden over looking the fields. It is a short walk (10 minutes) away from Bekesbourne station and from the local pub. Pets are allowed but only at the discretion of the owners. Our prices are all inclusive and include bed linen & towels.

Bookings can be made from our website where you will also find more pictures and details about the properties.Checkin is 4 pm and checkout is 10 am. Start days can be Friday or Saturday according to availability.

By car: The Oast & The Old Tannery: Entering Littlebourne on Bekesbourne Road you will see the village green on the right. Both houses are the other side of the green. Turn right onto the green and park in front of the houses. Ellens Cottage: In Bekesbourne village turn first left under railway bridge and up Bekesbourne Hill past The Unicorn PH, take third right down farm road (signed Ellens Cottage).

By train: The Oast & The Old Tannery go to Canterbury East or Canterbury West and take a taxi to the houses. Ellens Cottage: Go to Bekesbourne station.
