A Christmas Carol at The Marlowe TheatreEbenezer Scrooge. A squeezing, wrenching, grasping, scraping, covetous old sinner. One magical night. Three terrifying ghosts. A perfect tale for Christmas.
Northern Ballet’s A Christmas Carol combines traditional ballet and captivating theatre in a production that has delighted audiences up and down the country for over a decade.
Colourful sets and costumes conjure up a traditional Victorian Christmas, perfectly complemented by Carl Davis’ festive score, which blends classical music, played live by Northern Ballet Sinfonia, with well-known Christmas carols sung by the company.
