

Feel Good Fridays: Meditation at The Beaney Art Museum and LibraryPart of Feel Good Fridays at the Beaney.
These introductory meditation classes offer practical meditation instructions and down-to-earth advice drawn from Buddha's teachings.
You will learn techniques to develop a calm and peaceful mind. The classes include methods to inspire optimism and increased happiness. They are suitable for everyone, whether or not you have any previous experience of meditation. You can attend the classes on a drop-in basis, so feel free to come along and try it out. Run by the Jampel Centre's Resident Teacher, Kelsang Deden.
Through practising Kelsang Deden's teachings you can address day-to-day problems by maintainining a peaceful frame of mind. Meditation is intended to cultivate harmony and good relationships with your family, friends and others so that you can foster happiness for yourself and all those around you.
If you want to use meditation to tackle personal problems, unpleasant feelings or depression, join this course to learn how to transform your mind through your meditation practice.
