Howlett's Wild Animal Park, near Canterbury, offers an exciting and educational day out for groups and families of all ages. The park is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty - with wooded walkways and paths to explore along with educational and fun animal talks throughout the day, there is something new to discover around every corner.

Visitors can follow clues along the self guided trails, centred around a different theme every month, as they explore the home of some of the most endangered species on the planet including our world famous western lowland gorillas, the largest herd of African elephants outside their native land, big cats, small cats, primates and more.

Set over 90 acres of historic parkland, Howletts is home to some of the most endangered species on the planet including our world famous western lowland gorillas, the largest herd of African elephants in the UK, big cats, small cats, primates and more.

Walk amongst lemurs, come face to face with lions, tigers, giant anteaters and wester lowland gorillas in their glass fronted enclosures and in the spring and summer months, mimic the agile primates by trying the exciting Treetop Challenge - an obstacle course with rope bridges and zip wires, set in the trees.

Designed to be a centre of excellence for conservation, Howletts Wild Animal Park has large enclosures filled with natural folliage which provide camouflage, shelter and privacy for the animals. It's the perfect place to witness conservation in action. For more information visit the website.
