The museum is accessible for people with disabilities and we are developing a range of activities including tactile tours and multi-sensory object investigation sessions for blind and partially sighted people.


Planning your visit - please try to let us know in advance if you are visiting. We can let you know when is a good time to visit, and arrange to have some tactile and multi-sensory objects for you to investigate.


Guided tours - We offer interpreter led highlights tours for groups of up to 30 people. The cost is £25 in addition to the usual entry price to the museum.


Tactile tours and multi-sensory object investigation sessions - A tactile tour is being developed for groups of blind and partially sighted people. This includes a multi-sensory object investigation. The cost is £25 in addition to the usual entry price to the museum.
