We offer self-guided visits, guided tours and object investigation sessions for college and university groups. In addition there are exciting opportunities for partnership projects linked to teaching and research, as well as a limited number of student work placements.

Self-guided visit

Explore the museum on an exciting self-guided visit. Investigate the displays, discover the remains of the Roman house with its impressive mosaics and under floor heating system, and handle real Roman artefacts in the hands-on area. Cost: £2 per student. Time: Visits lasts approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Guided tour and object investigation session

Enjoy an interpreter-led highlights tours of the Roman Museum, including an objects investigation session in the hands-on area.  For groups of up to 30 students. Cost: £25, in addition to the usual entry price to the museum. Time: Length of tour approximately 40 minutes.
