The museum is fully accessible for people with disabilities and we offer a range of activities for this audience including tactile tours and multi-sensory object investigation sessions for blind and partially sighted people.
Planning your visit - Let us know in advance if you are visiting. We can let you know what is a good time, and arrange to have some tactile and multi-sensory objects for you to investigate.
Guided tours - We offer an interpreter-led highlights tour for up to 30 people. The cost is £25 in addition to the usual entry price to the museum. This includes an object investigation session.
Tactile tours and multi-sensory object investigation sessions - A tactile tour is being developed for groups of Blind and Partially sighted people. This includes a multi-sensory object investigation session in the Education Room. The cost is £25 in addition to the usual entry price to the museum.
